32 new names added to Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The City of Henderson honored the men and women who served our country during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony Saturday morning at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater.

Mayor Michelle Romero, alongside members of the Henderson City Council, joined veterans and their families for a solemn tribute, as 32 new names were unveiled on the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall.

When the memorial was first created, 1,213 names were engraved. Today, nearly 2,000 veterans are permanently honored on the wall.

The ceremony featured a presentation of colors by the City of Henderson Honor Guard, a roll call of local veteran organizations, and a musical salute to the U.S. Armed Forces performed by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra…
