Average gas price hits $4.01 per gallon in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Gasoline prices in Las Vegas shot up over the past two weeks and the average price is now at $4.01 per gallon, according to a survey of gas stations released early Monday by GasBuddy.

The average price has surged 24 cents since Monday, Oct. 27, when it was $3.77. Online fuel savings platform GasBuddy’s survey of 649 stations in the Las Vegas area shows that the cheapest price available was $3.40 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, and the highest price was $4.59.

At $4.01, Las Vegas prices are almost a full dollar — 98 cents — higher than the national average.

The average price hasn’t been this high since June 3, 2024, when the average was $4.11. That day, the national average was $3.50…
