LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is in critical condition following a shooting on I-11 on Monday afternoon that brought freeway traffic to a halt. Police believe someone on the freeway may have witnessed the shooting.
The shooting was reported shortly at 3:30 p.m. when officers responded to a call of a man suffering a gunshot wound at a business near Tropicana Avenue and Mountain Vista Street. The man, who was shot inside his vehicle on I-11, was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Detectives were able to determine the shooting took place on I-11 between Flamingo Road and Tropicana Avenue, and it’s believed the suspect was driving a sedan.
