Report: Southern Nevada’s population expected to add 340,000 more people over next decade

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Southern Nevada is expected to add the equivalent of Henderson’s population in the next decade, and the unemployment rate, as well as growth, is expected to stabilize, according to a report from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

On Thursday, UNLV’s Center for Business and Economic Research presented its 2025 Economic Outlook at Durango Casino and Resort.
