Rifle-Toting Bandit Storms Rampart Casino Cage, Slips Out Summerlin Garage

A masked gunman in tactical-style gear stormed the main cashier’s cage at the Rampart Casino near Summerlin Parkway last Thursday night, pointing what police described as an AR-style rifle and demanding cash before bolting back through the property’s parking garage, according to Metro. The robber was gone before officers arrived, and although the heist rattled the off-Strip property, no injuries were reported.

Metro detectives later released surveillance images of the suspect, who appeared to be an unknown-race male wearing a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black facemask and a blue-and-yellow jacket, as they canvassed the casino and surrounding streets for clues.
