LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Hundreds of Culinary Union members picketed outside Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, calling on Oak View Group (OVG) to reach a new union contract with stadium concession workers.
Union leaders said roughly 200 members gathered along Al Davis Way between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., ahead of the UNLV Rebels’ matchup against the Utah State Aggies.
The demonstration comes as negotiations continue for more than 730 cooks, servers, bartenders, and concessions employees who work inside the stadium. According to the union, OVG assumed the existing contract in February after taking over hospitality operations at the venue…
