Nevada officials respond to dropped Boring Company safety violations

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada state officials are responding to allegations that Elon Musk’s company building tunnels under Las Vegas influenced inspectors and the governor’s office to drop more than $400,000 in fines.

Nevada OSHA has charged the Boring Company with safety violations and fines for years. Musk’s project aims to build a network of underground tunnels connecting the Convention Center to the Harry Reid airport, the Strip and the Allegiant Stadium.
