Now, this would be great news, but according to Toast, a company that runs a POS network in 156,000 restaurants across the country, Las Vegas workers are at a disadvantage.

Travelers and holidaymakers in Las Vegas are apparently among the worst tipsters in the country, the company’s new study reveals, analyzing data from its terminals and transactions. Another issue is the lukewarm tipping culture in Las Vegas, possibly because the destination is rather expensive and sees a lot of people spending a lot upfront on resorts and accommodation.

Toast argues that the third quarter was still slow for tipping practices in Las Vegas and Nevada, although slight improvements have been registered.
