LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A higher percentage of Nevada students graduated from high school in 2025 than in the previous year.
According to a news release from Nevada’s Department of Education, the statewide graduation rate was 85.4% this year, up from 81.6% in 2024. In all, 34,175 students graduated statewide in 2025.
The release said Black students had the most significant increase among student groups. They increased 8.6 percentage points to 78.4%. Hispanic students increased by 4.7 percentage points to 85%, Asian students increased by 1.2 percentage points to 94%, Pacific Islanders increased by 4 percentage points to 86.2% and white students increased by one percentage point to 87.2%…
