Video leads Las Vegas police to murder suspect after woman found dead inside car

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A man faces murder charges after Metro police obtained video of a shooting and car crash in the southwest valley that left a woman dead on Sunday.

Through the investigation, police identified Andrew Garza, 40, as the suspect in the case.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, Las Vegas Metro police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash at 5:20 a.m. in the 7500 block of Dean Martin Drive near Warm Springs Road.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a street sign with a 25-year-old woman, later identified as Macy Stephens, suffering from a gunshot wound inside. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
