In a daring nighttime operation, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Search and Rescue team came to the aid of four climbers stranded in Juniper Canyon within the Red Rock area. As reported on the team’s social media account, the incident occurred on the evening of November 20th when harsh weather trapped the group after they completed the climbing route affectionately named Olive Oil. With no protection from the unexpected downpour, the climbers found themselves in a precarious situation that left them soaked and immobilized by the harsh elements.
