HENDERSON, Nev (KLAS) — A man is accused of attacking and stabbing a family member who played dead and later ran to a neighbor for help, according to documents 8 News Now obtained.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, police received a call about a stabbing near Lake Mead Parkway and Water Street. According to police, the stabbing victim, covered with blood, escaped to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

The victim told police Brandon Alger, 44, a family member, stabbed her multiple times, documents said. She received several cuts to her face and hands and required “dozens” of stitches.
The woman was hanging photos in her living room when Alger allegedly came “at her with a large knife,” documents said. The victim later “decided to play dead” to stop the attack. Alger then turned the knife on himself, and the stabbing victim ran out of the house…
