A Nevada law that requires lobbyists to register within two days of attempting to twist the arms of state lawmakers has no teeth, says the Nevada State Education Association, following the Legislative Counsel Bureau’s decision to let violations of state law slide against a former governor, a union boss, and a consultant who lobbied lawmakers on behalf of the current governor.
The NSEA, which represents teachers throughout Nevada except in Clark County, filed two complaints last month with the LCB regarding the failure of former Gov.
