LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — At the Sky Las Vegas Condos, a missing lobby nativity scene prompted a federal investigation, state inquiry, and not-so-good tidings.
In Dec. 2024, a tall Menorah display was approved by the homeowners association to be placed in the condo lobby, but unlike in Dec. 2023, a nativity scene was not displayed. The decision prompted Will Bradley, a retired U.S. Army officer, to request one, but he was denied.
On Apr. 17, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) responded to a housing discrimination complaint made by Bradley on the basis of alleged religious discrimination.
