Las Vegas could see temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above normal by the end of the week. According to the National Weather Service, a high-pressure system over the eastern Pacific is driving the heat, with the possibility of record highs.

Las Vegas could reach 72 degrees Thursday and 74 degrees Friday, with a 60–70% chance of tying or breaking Thursday’s record high and a 40–50% chance for Friday. ‘Numerous daily record highs and record warm lows are in jeopardy across the region mid-to-late week,’ the NWS said, highlighting the unusual warmth.
