Las Vegas anchor Jim Snyder retires from News 3 after 38-year career in news

Happening this week, familiar face and beloved news anchor, Jim Snyder is saying goodbye on multiple Las Vegas newscasts, including ARC Las Vegas, as he sets his sights on retirement.

Jim started his career in the news business in 1987 and spent more than 30 of those years working in Las Vegas. Since he started working in this fine city, Snyder has seen the population grow more than double its size from when he moved here. Jim has also been a part of the highs and lows of the city, including the Stanley Cup win with the Vegas Golden Knights to more somber moments like the One October mass shooting.
