CCSD to strengthen school safety with more background checks

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — In a push to increase safety within schools, the Clark County School District is requiring more people to undergo background checks and be fingerprinted.

The district already requires all employees to undergo an extensive background check, which includes fingerprinting. However, the new changes require vendors and independent contractors to submit to and pass the same background checks if they wish to set foot on school grounds.
