Man accused of assaulting officers at Las Vegas airport indicted, court officials say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The man accused of assaulting officers at Harry Reid National Airport has been indicted, court officials say.

Jhon Raul Vizcaino Ramirez, a Cuban national, is accused of using a woman’s boarding pass on Nov. 3 this year in an attempt to access a Southwest Airlines flight. Officials say he refused to show his identification to a Transportation Security Administration screening officer. When another screening officer refused to return the boarding pass, officials say he slapped the officer.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene. Officers attempted to detain Ramirez, but he resisted. Officials say he kicked an officer twice and kicked a TSA officer who tried to help detain him…
