LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Volunteers are needed to help count the homeless population in the Las Vegas valley in January. The count will occur on a single day in the last 10 days of January.
The 2026 Point-in-Time (PIT) count is planned in late January. It has been two years since the last count, when the homeless population surged 20.4% in a single year. The count found Clark County reached a 10-year high with 7,906 people experiencing homelessness.
