LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Four Southern Nevada volunteers with the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada are deploying to Washington state to assist with relief efforts as historic flooding forces tens of thousands of residents from their homes.
The four specially trained Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) drivers will join hundreds of Red Cross responders from across the country to provide critical aid to communities impacted by the catastrophic flooding.
The Southern Nevada volunteers deploying to Washington include Rockee Nelson and Sherriel Weithers of Henderson, along with Patrick Moore and Linda Gong of Las Vegas. Each volunteer has deployed multiple times to disasters across the country…
