LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Henderson police are targeting the city’s most dangerous intersections as part of a statewide traffic task force cracking down on speeders, red-light runners and distracted drivers after a string of crashes across Southern Nevada.
The Southern Nevada Traffic Task Force, a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies across the valley, launched its latest enforcement push last week.
Henderson police ran their own two-week enforcement before the statewide task force started — a trial run aimed at slowing drivers down. Officers used unmarked cars to target reckless and aggressive driving as well as excessive speed in Henderson.
