LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Drone pilots stationed at Creech Air Force Base north of Las Vegas deserve the same tax benefits as fighter pilots, according to Democratic Nevada Rep. Steven Horsford, who introduced legislation on Friday to address the matter.
Horsford’s district includes the air base worked with New Mexico Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernández in introducing the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Crews Tax Relief Act, legislation to modernize the tax code so service members who perform the same demanding work are treated the same, regardless of where they are stationed.
