LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One of Las Vegas’s oldest Thai restaurants has closed its downtown doors after more than 36 years, with the owner citing a drop in tourism and rising tariffs on imported ingredients.
Ocha Thai Cuisine remains open at a second location, continuing to serve the community. Bundit Buaban, owner-operator of Ocha Thai Cuisine, closed the downtown Las Vegas location after working there since he immigrated from Thailand at 14 years old. He has worked every job at the restaurant, from the kitchen to the front of house.
