LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Southern Nevada is getting a first-of-its-kind hospital designed to treat substance use disorders and medical conditions, both under one roof.
The Las Vegas Recovery Hospital will be located on the campus of Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson. It’s a place for patients who need more than detox alone, offering a holistic model of care that combines hospital-level medical treatment and addiction recovery in a stigma-free setting.
For Stephanie Tanner, that kind of care could have changed everything. She said she started drinking at just 13 years old – a habit that eventually spiraled into a decades-long struggle with substance use.
