Las Vegas roads experience crashes during Christmas Eve ‘atmospheric river’

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Wet, muddy, and partially closed roads appeared frequent during a Christmas Eve “atmospheric river,” which brought rainfall in Southern Nevada.

Death Valley National Park reported a flash flood watch until 4 a.m. and a flood advisory until 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.

“Badwater and North Highway are closed due to flooding,” according to a national park Facebook post. “Use caution on any road in the area. Don’t drive through active flowing water.”…
