LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are investigating after an inmate was found dead inside his cell at the Clark County Detention Center.
According to Las Vegas metro police, a corrections officer was conducting routine checks on Dec. 26 at 11:20 p.m. when they noticed the inmate lying on the ground.

When officers entered the cell, they determined the inmate had what appeared to be blunt force injuries.
That inmate died at the detention center…
