Going into 2026, Marcina Moore says, “We can only go up from here!” The upward trajectory of her career as a massage therapist began in 2003 when she got certified in deep tissue and medical massage and, by the next year, opened her own business in Texas, which she ran successfully till 2017. That year, Moore decided to bring her skills to Las Vegas, joining Canyon Ranch Spa & Fitness at The Venetian Resort. Two years ago, she made the move to Serenity Spa & Salon at Westgate Las Vegas, where she is currently the massage therapist lead.
Not only does Moore perform deep tissue and sports massage, she supports the whole massage therapist team. “I guide them to be good examples,” she says. “It’s about warm greetings, protocols, taking care of guests, making sure they’re trained on new treatments. I make sure to set them up for success.”
For Moore, being a massage therapist is a passion. “We’re very intuitive,” she says. “It comes by learning the skill, and through experience, you intuitively know how to heal someone’s body.”…
