Southbound highway from Las Vegas now cleared of crashes

Southbound U.S. Highway 93 is closed at Interstate 40 in northern Arizona because of an accident farther south near the tiny town of Nothing on Tuesday, Dec. 30.

The crash occurred at mile marker 157, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Initially, the southbound highway was closed at the accident site, but ADOT later extended the closure to the U.S. 93 junction with I-40.
