LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 47-year-old man is dead, and a driver is facing DUI charges following a crash late Thursday night near Nellis Air Force Base.

The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. on Craig Road near Lamont Street. Craig was closed to traffic until around 4:15 a.m. while police conducted an investigation.
The collision involved a car and a three-wheeled trike-type vehicle. The driver of the car, Patricia Jauregui, 46, remained at the scene and was later booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of DUI, failing to yield, and operating a vehicle with an expired registration or plates.
Police said Jauregui made a left turn from Craig onto Lamont, causing the collision with the Can-Am Spyder. The rider of the three-wheel vehicle died at the scene, police said.
Jauregui is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday. Police said this is the third traffic-related fatality since 2026 started…
