LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An inmate killed last week inside the Clark County Detention Center was in custody after violating terms of his probation, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
Chad Ollinger, 41, who appeared on a Discovery Channel TV show, is accused of killing Christopher Kelly, 42, inside a cell on Dec. 26. Detectives believe Kelly died from blunt force injuries.
In June 2024, Kelly pleaded guilty to a charge of theft after stealing a man’s phone and wallet, documents said. A month later, Clark County District Court Judge Joe Hardy sentenced Kelly to probation as Kelly was accepted into a drug court program…
