Dignity Health brings more primary care doctors to the growing Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — FOX5 continues to report on efforts to bring more doctors to the growing Las Vegas Valley amid a massive shortage, and St. Rose Dominican and Dignity Health Nevada share their strategy to recruit more providers.

There are 29 primary care physicians among the team at St. Rose Dominican and Dignity Health Nevada, according to Family Physician Dr. Frank Arnold. As director of the primary care program, he is working to recruit physicians to meet the Las Vegas Valley’s growing need.

“We’re the day-to-day doctor: that’s essentially the baseline, somebody you go to on a daily basis. We’re also the ones that are going to take care of your day-to-day sniffles, sneezes, boo-boos, band-aids, injury-type of things. We’re also the ones that start the workup for a lot of disease processes,” Dr. Arnold said…
