LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The family of a woman killed in a hit-and-run crash on Las Vegas Boulevard has identified the victim as 43-year-old Lynessa Gyen Perkins, a mother of three.
Police say evidence and surveillance show Perkins walking north in the left travel lane on Las Vegas Boulevard when a 2019 Cadillac SUV struck her, throwing her into the roadway. The driver, 77-year-old Edward Dias, fled the scene, according to Metro police.
Perkins was taken to UMC, where she was pronounced dead.
