LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — 2026 is off to a great start for many pets!
Paws Patrol LV shared on its Facebook page that in 2025, the nonprofit rescued more than 500 animals. Many of these rescues came from the highway, the desert, and streets across Las Vegas. Paws Patrol LV also reunited several pets with their owners through microchip scans.

Some rescued animals were transported to veterinary hospitals and placed with foster families — with the organization fostering pets themselves when possible. Unfortunately, the nonprofit is also responsible for picking up deceased animals.
“Our wish is that all dogs in shelters are adopted into loving homes, that no animals are left on the streets or abandoned, and that we drastically decrease the number of dogs being euthanized,” according to Paws Patrol LV’s Facebook page…
