LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The 19-year-old driver charged with murder after a deadly 12-car crash last year will not face the death penalty, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Jose Gutierrez pleaded not guilty to the charges against him during a brief arraignment Tuesday morning. Clark County District Court Judge Michelle Leavitt scheduled his trial for May.
