Nevada gas prices drop as national average hits lowest in years

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada gas prices have decreased by a penny since last week, now averaging $3.37 per gallon of regular gasoline.

This marks a 24-cent drop from the same time last year. Nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gas has fallen to $2.81, the lowest since March 2021.

John Treanor, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, said, “Crude oil prices remain relatively unchanged from the end of 2025 and unaffected amid questions about Venezuela’s impact on the oil market.” He added that the global oil supply is strong, with OPEC+ not planning any production hikes in the first quarter of 2026 due to lower demand…
