Crossing guard struck by teen driver in Bullhead City, flown to Las Vegas hospital

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — A crossing guard is recovering in a Las Vegas hospital after she was struck by a teen driver in northwestern Arizona early Wednesday morning.

Bullhead City police were called to the collision around 7:30 a.m. outside of Mohave Accelerated Learning Center, located near Marina and Riviera boulevards.

The crossing guard, a 48-year-old woman from Bullhead City, was struck by a teen boy driving a pickup truck while directing traffic. Investigators estimated that the 16-year-old driver was going around 30 mph when the collision happened…
