The Summerlin outpost will stick to Tacos 1986’s standing-room-only, counter format and keep the focus on hand-made corn tortillas, flame-grilled carne asada and the chain’s popular Hongo mushroom vegan tacos, according to a press release from The Resort at Summerlin. Founder Victor Delgado called the expansion an “exciting chapter” and said the concept was “born on the streets of Los Angeles,” the statement notes.

Tacos 1986 and smash-burger spot For The Win are slated to open in mid March 2026 as part of The Neighborhood Food Hall, which the resort says is being refreshed as part of a roughly $75 million dining overhaul. Food & Beverage Magazine notes the food hall will include chef-driven and national names such as ai Pazzi Pizza, Nom Wah, Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar and Wineaux.
