The school reported the incident to Clark County School District Police on Jan. 8, and Zachary May, 21, was arrested the following day.
In one video, May is seen dragging the student from near a classroom door into the hallway. The student lay on the ground while May hovered over the student for about a minute. A second camera then captured the student running away from May, being grabbed again, and dragged approximately four feet down the hallway. The video also showed the student standing up and going against the wall and unsuccessfully attempting to kick May, according to the arrest report.

One of the witnesses told officers that May entered the classroom and attempted to get the student to leave, but the student fell to their knees, “insinuating they did not want to leave,” and May “aggressively” grabbed the student and dragged them along the floor out of the classroom, upsetting several other students, the report said.
