LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A North Las Vegas family is reeling after thieves stole a young boy’s electric scooter from their garage.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, before 6 p.m., when LaShawn Black’s husband was briefly away from the garage.
“They walked through my garage and unplugged my son’s electric scooter. And both of them came out and stole it,” Black said. The scooter, a Christmas and birthday gift for Black’s son, was his primary mode of transportation to school. “Me and my husband we both work, so we kind of rely on him being able to get there,” Black explained.
