Calling all local rockers, rappers, and rhapsodists: the Henderson Battle of the Bands is tuning up for its sixth encore. With cash prizes on the line and the opportunity to grace the city’s premiere event stages, musicians hailing from every genre are invited to throw their hats in the ring. According to the City of Henderson, applications are to be submitted by February 20, and should include an entry performance video that might just catapult your band to the big stage.
The competition looks to spotlight talents across two age-based categories: those bands rocking members all under 20, and those featuring at least one player 21 or over. Aspiring stars can look to showcase their skills at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater, with the under 20 category jamming out on Friday, March 27, and the older cohort taking to the stage on Saturday, March 28.
