La Bonita Supermarkets quietly cut the ribbon this month on its largest Las Vegas location yet, taking over part of the old Kmart footprint at the Sunrise shopping center near Bonanza and Nellis. The family-owned chain’s new store is the company’s eighth Valley location and brings a tortillería, juice bar and an in-store taquería to the east side. The opening is also the clearest sign yet of a larger rework at a plaza that had been hit hard by vacancies after Kmart closed.
