LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The man charged with Tupac Shakur’s murder “repeatedly confessed” to it, prosecutors in Las Vegas said Tuesday in their response to a request to toss evidence from a nighttime raid.
In September 2023, a Clark County grand jury indicted Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 62, on a murder charge for the rap icon’s 1996 shooting death. Davis has remained in custody since his arrest.
In December, his attorneys filed a 24-page document asking a judge to toss out evidence seized in what they called an unnecessary, unjustified nighttime search of Davis’ Henderson home.
