LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — What was meant to be a memorable family vacation quickly became a nightmare after one member of a Las Vegas family was taken into ICE custody moments after she stepped off the plane in Hawaii.
“I remember sobbing on the airport floor, squatting, seeing someone that I love so much get taken away after trying to do everything right, trying to do everything legally but getting denied,” Jessivet Sanchez told News 3 after mother, Yessica Rivera Sanchez.
Sanchez says for years her family has celebrated Christmas by vacationing in Hawaii; however, just recently, on December 18, Sanchez says that all changed after she and her family landed at the airport, where she says they were met with immigration officials…
