LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in an overnight crash in the central Las Vegas valley Saturday night.
Shortly before midnight on Saturday, Jan. 24, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision in the intersection of East Sahara Avenue and Santa Clara Drive, near Paradise Road.

The collision involved a 2024 Kia and a pedestrian, a 67-year-old man. Police said evidence at the scene, witness statements, and a video showed that the Kia was driving east on East Sahara Avenue approaching Santa Clara Drive while the man was walking outside of a marked crosswalk across Sahara.
