LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street against a red light.
On Saturday, Jan. 31, at around 8:30 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision near East Owens Avenue and North Nellis Boulevard.

Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and video showed that a man in his 50s or 60s was crossing Nellis Boulevard westbound in a marked crosswalk against a red signal.
The collision happened when the man crossed into the path of a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup that was traveling north, and the front of the vehicle hit the man, police said…
