LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Saturday afternoon on southbound State Route 160 near mile marker 15 in Clark County.
Authorities confirmed that southbound SR‑160 is closed for an undetermined amount oftime as troopers conduct their on‑scene investigation. Northbound lanes of the highway remain open. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

According to preliminary information, troopers responded to the crash at 3:31 p.m. on Saturday, after receiving reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. One adult male motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Mercy Air airlifted a passenger on a motorcycle to a local hospital with injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver and passenger in the pickup truck were not transported for injuries, according to investigators. Additional details will be released after the preliminary crash investigation is completed…
