LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Search and Rescue personnel rescued two people in back-to-back operations Saturday, according to Las Vegas Metro Search and Rescue.
Around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, search and rescue received a report from a person that a member of their hiking party broke their ankle near Turtlehead Peak in Red Rock.
Search and rescue personnel were inserted by AIR3, and they assessed and treated the hiker. The hiker was packaged into a litter, and a rope system was built in order to safely transport them to a suitable extraction location…
