LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A crossing guard was hit by a car Wednesday morning outside Cambeiro Elementary School, marking another incident involving school safety personnel in the Las Vegas Valley. This, according to a team manager with crossing guard company All City Management Services.
The male crossing guard, in his 60s, was struck by a vehicle turning right while he was in the crosswalk at Washington and Eastern, according to Sergio Mayoral with All City Management Services. He says the crossing guard was taken to UMC and later released with hip injuries and shoulder trauma.
