LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Cadence Crossing, the casino project in the southeast valley on Boulder Highway, will open in late March, according to company officials.
The neighborhood casino, which is being built next to the Joker’s Wild site, is being built in phases as the area grows. Keith Smith, president and chief executive officer of Boyd Gaming, said on Thursday that the project will bring “a modern gaming entertainment facility” to the area.
Initial plans for the first phase of the project include dining options and 450 slot machines in a 10,000-square-foot casino. Officials said previously that Joker’s Wild will shut down when Cadence Crossing opens. A larger casino and possibly a hotel will be added in future phases.
