Winner of Las Vegas chicken wing eating competition ate nearly 200 wings

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Wing Bowl, which until now has only been held in Philadelphia, came to Las Vegas, and the winner ate nearly 200 wings.

The Wing Bowl was held at the Plaza Hotel and Casino on Saturday, Feb. 7. The competition was founded in Philadelphia in 1993 and was never held in any other city… until now.

Twenty competitors battled it out over three rounds of intense wing-eating, all competing for a $5,000 cash prize.

The winner? Molly Schuyer, the defending Wing Bowl champion, took home first prize after eating 189 wings. Shuyer holds the Wing Bowl record of 501 wings, which she set in 2018…
